A two-part series of Awareness Through Movement® lessons
Two consecutive ATM classes designed to help you establish a health relationship between the shoulders and the core and find support for your shoulders. Bonus: reduces tension in the neck!
This class is done mostly lying on an exercise mat on the floor. Mats are provided for use in class. Please bring several towels that you can fold and stack to use as a pillow if you need support for your head. Wear comfortable clothes that do not interfere with movement but that allow you to move freely. This class is done barefoot or with socks.
Suitable for all fitness levels.
While movements are slow and gentle this class is not appropriate for shoulder injuries in the acute stage. Please check with your medical doctor or physical therapist if you are currently being treated for a recent shoulder injury.
